The 45-acre island is famous for its six pristine beaches, each named in his honor or after someone important. Paradis beach was named in tribute to Vanessa Paradis, his former partner and mother of Lily-Rose and Jack. Another was named Gonzo after late author Hunter S Thompson while another honored his mentor Marlon Brando.
